Geeklog was my frontpage for awhile, but I wanted full intergration so I tried to switch to VBPortal.
I've had problems with that. My forum is on a subdomain, so that didn't go smoothly...so I made a new forum and tried to upload the sql for that, that didn't go smoothly... So I've given up on the idea of having an intergrated forum/frontpage. I don't want to go back to Geeklog, so I was wondering did anyone have any suggestions on a easy to use blog, (no Greymatter or Movable Type too much work) as the others VBPortal, VBIndex, VBHome Lite are dependant on the forum to work? Thanks |

yeah, all the other portals, vbhome, vbindex, etc are dependent of your forums since they use the same database as the forums.
with some php knowledge you can create your own mini portal, i have ![]() |

So should I go with PHP nuke as a front page? Or does anyone have other bloggers they could suggest?

If you just want a blogger without vb integration: http://www.blogger.com/
From what I've heard, that's a good one. I don't use it since I have no use for it ![]() |
