People are expecting too much from the rackshack staff. If you know your way around a linux box, you'll have no trouble at all. They answer trouble tickets in a timely fashion and so far, i've had nothing but positive experiences with them. No matter what people say, rackshack owns the market.
And to be honest, i prefer having full control of my server, knowing that i could do something that could possibly damage my configuration, rather than having some tech doing all the work for me. |

Rackshack.net is totally unmanaged - it's up to you to update the software, maintain security etc. That's why they are so cheap.
Same here, I prefer total control. I get to optimize everything myself. ![]() |
