User Status Based On Posts & Time Registered

I have searched the forums and didn't see any hacks like this, however if it has already been done then I apologize.

Basically this hack does what the title says. It lets you add a minimum days registered requirement for each level of status in addition to the already established post count requirements. This will allow you to prevent members from spamming your forums in hopes of boosting their status.

I made it a few months ago with the intent to use it on my forums but never got around to testing it. I am providing this hack in hopes that I can receive some help in testing all of the different methods of status change to make sure I have covered them all. I'm especially concerned about how status will change for posts made in forums that don't count posts.

Please let me know of any bugs that are found so that I can try to fix them. Feel free to also make suggestions for improvement in code or anything else you see.

I should also note that I will not be able to provide support for this hack. Please use at your own risk and be sure to make a backup before changing any files.

I can't give you the screen, but it will simple add another textbox when editing an user title (where you set the amount of posts needed and the title).

Nice hack, although I would probably not use it unless members requested it. Also, I tend to shy away from hacks where they say "the author cannot guarantee to provide support for this hack".

well this is exactly what i wanted as i have quite some bad ass spammers just to get their posts up. anyway the3jams i will test it and let you know. i think some asked for screenies well i can provide you with the ACP User Title screenshot here.

notice on the screenshot that besides the no. of posts you can set Required Days Registered:

one thing that i haven't quite understand the3jams is this. In order to change title to the next one which is based on days does it have to get the maxium number of posts as well? or the ones with days don't have to do anything with the ones with no. of posts and vice versa?

In order to get the next title the member will have to meet both requirements listed for that title. If they do not meet both requirements they will stay the same until they do.
