been working with vbulletin for awhile now and loving every bit of it...but I have been working on some nonvb stuff with smarty template system and trying to figure out how I can edit the .tpl files through the web somewhat like in VB....is there a something for this already or not??

if not, should I trying using something other than smarty?

there are no tpl files in vb.

the templates are stored in the db, and so every script which has acces to the db can also edit the templates if you wish to do so...

right, I knew there were no tpl files with vb. but I cant seem to figure out how to have a template code in a cell and be able to pull it out of the db and then run it. If I can do that then I will just make my own template system for myself (just not as robust as VB) and not use smarty. If you know anymore info let me know.
