I know you can change passwords in the admin cp but is there a way to view a users password?

Well it's by design

. The admin should never need to know anybody's password anyway thanks to the Lost Password form.

Not everyone knows that passwords are hashed using md5.

in vb1 they weren't but it's a security risk...

even normal md5 hashing can be insecure, that's why vb3 uses anotherway
