Thanks! Ctrl + F5 works for me; shift + F5 does nothing over here. I guess ctrl + F5 refreshes the page, and checks to see if there is a newer version of the page? Or it clears the cache for that particular page?

it clears the chace of that particular site, and affilate ones

Could you be a little more specific as to which pages it clears the caches for?

well it reloads the chache for the actual site so it affects every other site which uses the same ressources.

or in our example:
if you refresh the cache of your profile, the avatar on forumhome will be renewed, too

Ctrl+F5 basically ignores your actual temp files or cache and loads a web page as it was never loaded before.
