Images remotely hosted
Hey guys,
Just wondering how I would go about remotely hosting all my forums images (smileys, avatars, forum images) etc, on another site and remotely linking to them. I have no clue how to do so and the images are eating away at my primary bandwidth. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks -Scott |

all you have to do is to set the image path correctly on the style properties

Make sure you own the other site though because I can speak from experience when I say webmasters don't like it when people hotlink their images.

Eep, slight problem. (I know you're getting sick of me! :P)
I've uploaded all the images to another server and have specified the correct path to them. However, when I refresh the forum index, they won't show up and display a nice big red x just to annoy me. I know they are there and all the files leading to it having been chmodded to 777. Any ideas? Thanks. -Scott |

Right-click them, select Properties, and make sure the URL is correct. The server also might have hotlink protection.
