Default Do you read books?

well it's an easy question

in our buisness, we have to read a lot while surfing through the net.
Also as a student like me, we have to read also for studying.

So do you also read in your free time and which books do you prefer?

I'll make the start myself:
I don't read much books, because of limited time, but when i do i prefer old classical books. Or books about philosophy.
My favourites currently are books by Friedrich Nietzsche a german philosoph.

So what about you?

I love to read! Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the time to do it. Nor find any good books anymore that seem to interest me.

I'm a huge fan of JRR Tolkien and have almost all of his published books, even read almost all of them. I also like Tom Peretti and his works.

Plan on reading alot about Nietzsche before I die. He sounds like a good man to learn from.

yes Dominik, i can really suggest to read books by him.
But before you start you should inform yourself a bit about Schopenhauer, Hegel, Kant and Wagner, because Nietzsche refers to them several times

i don't know the translations, but the original german is well written and comfortable to read

Heh

I love to read I read hundreds of books a year, but have recently found myself reading all sorts...

Due to the AS Levels, I have to read set books for English Literature, such as "The Wife of Bath's Prologue", by Geoffrey Chaucer, and I found myself reading the rest of his Canterbury Tales, of which the With of Bath's is a part...

I have also read "The Handmaid's Tale" by Magaret Atwood, and "The Glass Menagerie" by Tenessee Williams...

I have also been reading several books about War and conquest, several Tom Clancy novels, and most recently, I decided to re-read my massive 10 book library on Karl Marx

I hope to begin reading German Literature within the next year, but for now, I will have to do with easy books and translations
