Multiple user names?
Alright, so far i haven't seen a request ofr completed hack for this, but I'll throw the idea out. I know some people, like myself, keep one account on their site for adminstrative purposes, and another just as a registered member - to participate in discussion and see what the users see. Well is there a way to stay logged in to both accounts, and then while posting select which username you want to post with from a drop down? It'd be pretty sweet if it were possible... let me know.

There is an easy way to do it. And that is to use seperate domain names, as you know cookies can only exist under one domain.
My site is accessible through several different domain names and I can login through say, domain1.com as myself and domain2.com as someone else, and the two logins are maintained. Equally I can login on both domains as myself and that works equally as well. |

seperate domains would work well, but im never usually on one computer. True, i do most of my work at home, but i also do it while im at work, and at school, and i can't leave my cookies on the computer anyway, so that would be to no avail. That's why i was asking if there could be a drop-down box or something.. just an idea htough.. thanks

Or you can run Netscape and IE at the same time, and log in under different users with each. Works.
