Inactivity is becoming an issue with my forum, not really a problem I have to face directly that could prove destructive to the forum, like a user gone amuck spamming everywhere, but one that still bugs the hell out of me. Inactivity of members for most of us is annoying, when they simply register and post maybe once or twice, but then disappear for all eternity.
Other than that matter, my forums are generally very well kept, I have a good moderator team composed of people I talk to very often through AIM and mIRC, as well on the forum. The members of the forum have become very accustomed with the fact that the forum does not tolerate spam or crude people prone to causing trouble or flaming, therefore everything stays very clean. When new registrants arrive they are kept moderate as well by other members always (or sometimes inadvertently) enforcing the rules.
