Ok, I was toying around with Slynderdales first Upload hack, which is basically a standalone File uploader, which requires members to enter their name/pass to upload stuff. It's pretty handy:
Here's the link. It has become painfully clear that Slynderdale will no longer be working on it, so i'm gonna need a bit of help trying to add features to it... (please?)
1.) I need the ability to limit the space that the user can have, and what I was thinking, is if there was some sort of way that it put an extra field into the member table, that kept a running tally of the bytes uploaded, it could add or subtract how many bytes there are total, up to the set limit. I dont know how possible or impossible this is, so please clue me in.
2.)The Subtracting of bytes, could only be done if the user is able to delete files... How would i be able to go about allowing the user to delete files?
