Actually, this topic has nothing to do with hacking, and I'm not sure whether or not this is the right place for it, but I thought I could as well ask about this.
After the installation of vB3 at the vbulletin.com forum, I noticed that I had been locked out from everything that a normal user could do. It seemed as if I was a guest, so I checked my email, and I remembered that I had switched it. I simply changed the email in the members' section to match my new one, and this affected absolutely nothing. I'm starting to think that I have been banned, although I have done nothing careless or disrespecting (at least to my knowledge ![]() Either way, I'm wondering what could be causing this? I tried to ask the same question in the vB.com "pre-sales" forum, which allows non-licensed user access, but I got a no permission message there as well. I should probably email their support and ask, but I thought I could as well post it here, as it most certainly seems like a bug, at least from my point of view. |

I got it activated. Apparently, I had ended up in the email activation usergroup, even though I've been a member since January.
