Login on non-vb pages for VB-Users to access my sites

hello,
i looked around.. for a hack to make my users get login on my other pages.. but i want to user the VB-Users tabel to make them access or not....and i thought i found a hack...to make the login available on other pages with redirect on the page where they logged in.. but the hack did not work and the support also did not worked..

.. so i need help.. .. to get this work its really important for me.. cause i wnat only my registered user (8.155 users) to get into special diegned pages of my homepage (beside the board) .. they hve to login to be recognized as registered users.. only if someone is registered he should be able to access the page on wich this login filed is shown..

.. so i got a download area.. where users can make entries too.. but to be sure there are no fakes posted the users should be registered to make entries in my database... other user even cant get access to the page.. .. so please help me out to make this work.. a little link (footer) will be done for you sure

yes i tried it some time ago.. and it is very useful.. but also the load would be too heavy.. .. it killed my server no i just need a simple login check for secured sites.. oin wich only registered users after loggin in could get access.. .. maybe someone kknows the php code to ask the databse if the logged user and pass exists.. if yes it shoul?d redirect.. if no.. it should also redirect n a page wich should say.. no permission.. or something else.. that would be my wishes for X-mas
