Hi

I don't know about this, but I'd like to make it possible for users to choose what type of category post they do. For example, if a user post about a Game, I'd like the user to be able to choose from the category list (required, depending on forum).. and depending on what he chooses a special logo/image will appear in that post.

Would that be a possible hack to do for vB?

Well can't you do this by posticons?
that's why these are there...

I'd like to do soemthing similar, but I would rather it be so that when you create a new thread, it shows up as an icon or text in forumdisplay.

Also, it would only be necessary for a few forums, so enabling this globally would be pointless...
