If they find out that they have been deleted, you need to make it clear that they MUST remain active or else ...

Remember, "You're the boss" ... you have to make it clear about what type of members you want! Don't try adding all of these hacks when all that's needed is a definite move on your part ... OK?

Also, I may add that you should ask your members to set in their profiles IF they will be away for a certain amount of time. If you don't have this feature, I believe Bira created a "Away Message for User's" hack that might suit this need.
