I have a few options I want to hide from user but set at a certain value, for example :

1) Automatically parse URLs: automatically adds and around internet addresses.

I want this to be disabled (default it's enabled) and also make it so that no users can see the option...

2) Showing threads 1 to 4 of 4, sorted by last post time in descending order from the beginning.

I want this to be the option seen above (so last post time/descending/the beginning) for all forums, and also make it so that no users can see the option anymore...

That's the 2 most important ones, is this possible (I can delete the references of course in the templates but then the default values are wrong and then there isn't even a way to change it anymore....

yes you have to remove the code out of the templates, but for default values you have to add hidden codes instead

well normally you've got something like this (an example for yes/no):

<input type=radio name="..." value=1 checked> Yes
<input type=radio name="..." value=0> No

this means default is yes, if you just delete it, the default would be no.
to get it back to yes but make it unchoosable you have to use this instead:
