Importing Unix mbox format
Anyone figured out a way to import messages from Unix mbox format. Basically it's a load of emails.
Thanks, Antun |

You can write a PHP script which will go hunt the seperator of your file, extract the messages and then write into your threads/posts table. Of course message posters will be displayed as "Guest" since they dont have an account in your user table. But other than that their names, message titles, dates etc. can be recovered from your file..
If you are looking for a released script, I havent heard any but maybe you can check it in vbulletin.com |

But what about the following tables:
word searchindex Both of them have plenty of rows; do I have to compensate for them? Thanks, Antun PS I checked vbulletin.com already. |

no you dont.. You can build them via Admin CP/Rebuild search index after you imported the posts..
