Update to 2.2.7, do I need to do everything all over again?
Hai,
I have customized my Vbulletin 2.2.6 with translations in Dutch (in php files also) and installed several hacks....now there is an update to 2.2.7. What does this mean, do I need to translate everything in my php-files again and install all hacks again??? Can someone tell me? If so then I will wait for version 3.0 to come out to do it all over again... Thanx |

yes.. all your .php files will be overwritten so you'll lose your hacks and .php file modifications..
Your modified templates will be safe though.. Check here for an alternative upgrading method |

I know enough...I will wait for version three and upgrade my forum on my second server...the hacks are not that big and the translations are not too big also.....
Can I keep my templates for import or do the change HTML code as well for new features?? |
