YEa 99 a month is cheep, but horible support, I have been on 3 servers with them, just pure horrible support, when you need server support, they either give you one of the following answers.
1. We do not support it book in for a restore 2. Let us reboot, and see howit turns out, if it doesn't lets put in a request for restore There servers run good, but many problems occure, because most of the servers are not rebooted right, the guys either press the button, and wait for the fan to stop or just pull the plug. They run t3 connections, on one router per 20 servers, and they have been getting DoSsed latly, so the routers go down here and there. I suggest lookin to 4webspace.com and catalog.com, oh also, the 500mb ram may sound good, but they use crappy ass rams, my friend got his duron, celoron, and cobalt colocated at his new offices, and he had to practically rebuild the thing, he had it at rackshack for a while, with alot of hostees, so he took it. Also, if you use more then 400gb transfer, you will get screwed up the ass if youa re looking at there 99$ fee, and also the setup fee, is a mother ++++er. Ive had much experience with the, and I suggest try something a bit expensive, and get alot of company information, and do alot of dns lookups on there domains, and ips, and check what kind daemons they have running, check there average output, and more, remember the price you pay is equal to the quality you get. I just wanted to share my point of rackshack, when it comes to your site, I got no opinion :-D, your site in your WWW(profile) doesn't seem to get 500-1000 posts, so I don't know. Anyways good luck Drk |
