Member Number Hack (Please Help) · **Released**: 03-18-2002

I just purchased an owned vB license, but there are not member numbers underneath a person's username when they post, or in their profile. Is there a hack for getting a member number system like UBB?

I believe all you will need to do is place $post[userid] (or) $post[id] in the postbit template where you want it to be seen. If this is not correct, someone will correct me shortly.

but wouldn't that just put it under their name when they post? I want it fully integrated like in UBB boards...

Then put:
Member Number: $post[userid]
in the template. Bear in mind this won't be 100% accurate, as some users are deleted and userid sometimes skips.

Also, Tha Rock, the "member number" is assigned whenever someone signs up automatically. You don't have to do anything.
