As we all know forums are very server intensive and our costs rise as we get more and more members so advertising is becoming very important in forum survival.

I need a hack like sitepointforums.com has and also webhostingtalk.com has.

Sponsored forum banners in the category script on the front page and also banners in those particular sponsored forums. (on all show thread, and in thread pages)

So is anyone going to publically release this?

If not who can i buy it off? Does WLuke hold the intelectual rights to it?

Is it going to be in vb3?

I don't know, maybe there are additions to it in the thread. I don't use it, so I didn't read the whole thread

Aside from something similar to Firefly's hack, there isn't anything to buy. I simply use PHPAds and keyword targeting.

I am using phpads but am unsure how to have forum specific advertising.

Any hints?
