Default Mobile Style causes high server load

Hello

I am using the Default Mobile Style for a few years now an never had problems.

Now as my traffic got higher I experience problmes with the server load.
The load jumps from 1 to 5 or higher without any cause.

I just found out that disabling the Default Mobile Style brings the load back to normal.

What could cause these problems with the load?

I already set back any changes I've made on the Mobile Style without any result.
