I certainly plan to, as soon as I catch up on where vBulletin is with the latest version.
I've downloaded it, and will install and play with it for a few days, getting to know the code. And then watch out.

I agree. When I stopped developing, vBulletin (and any forum software in general) was still quite popular. Mobile devices and social media seem to have made it a lot less popular, but this is where I cut my teeth (was using vB for a couple years before I got more involved), so I'm game to try helping it along even if it's in a small way.
