I have a new template that only shows navtabs (new posts - private messages ext... ) if I use the forum link I see the forum home navtabs but I dont see them when i use my index.php forum home? What triggers the content of the bar as I can not track this down?

I would prefer to see the default forum home nav links on my custom pages as well

Still can not determione what triggers different values to be in the sub nav section deposending opn what page your on? any help here please?

So if I have the forum tab active in the navigation settings i see the items, but I use my own text and point to the index file instead and require the forum.php, this does not work?
