Default https migration 4.2.5

Hi, how to migrate to https protocol in vb 4.2.5?
My current forum is 4.2.4, but I've tested a 425 vb in my localhost to migrate to https.
ACP / Settings / Options / Site URL/...
I've changed the site URL to https, but it shows an error:
Code:
You did not enter a valid value for this setting.
I can't set this field to https at all.
I've done this in 424 with no problem, but seems 425 is different.
In config.php I've commented out the lines related to https, in order to set my forum in ssl, but id didn't either.
I did some tricks, but all the contents are not moved to https, like fonts or font-icons or even the styles and templates.
How to migrate to https in 425?
I will upgrade my current forum to 425, and want to migrate to https but I've stopped this for this reason.
Thanks in advance

No issues setting 4.2.5 to https, as i run a few 4.2.5 forums based on https.

The issue may be that you're trying to do this on your localhost.

I wrote a guide on this not too long ago.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=326118

If you follow that guide, this meta tag will turn all of your links from http to https automatically.... once the other steps are followed. So you won't have to worry about changing the url from ACP / Settings / Options / Site URL/...

Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Security-Policy" content="upgrade-insecure-requests" />

I knew and also had added those lines in my htaccess file, but that didn't still work.
It seems something is wrong with my server maybe or hosting. Because I thought there should I do some additional thing in vB 425.
I'll tell you after checking everything

Make sure you insert that line of htaccess code at the very top of the .htaccess file & do not modify it (like trying to insert a site name for instance).

also if you're having trouble with that htaccess code, have a look at this Q&A https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...tandard-domain

Where did you see this error?

I never face a problem when moving forums to https. Seem you have a wrong configuration there or you should check your https configurations from your provider.
