editting showthread file
Hi guys,
I want to completely change showthread by adding and removing big features . I cant seem to find the right area. To make it more clear. I want that my forum will be read-only for all my guests and members. Which means that showing the reply button and the text box are unnecessary. Should I edit the showthread.php file now? It's kinda confusing for me with being able to see just the codes without visual previews |

Why don't you just edit the forum permissions for the usergroups?
You can just set that they cannot start threads or reply to threads. |

Problem solved. I have already found the showthread file in the style manager.
I'm not aware if the reply buttons are still visable eventhough members do not have the permission. I needed to find the showthread file because i also wanted to get rid of the ''posting rules'' block and a few things more Thanks for reading |
