Thanks again for the replies. I'm fairly sure I'll stick with VB3 for the time being as a result of the advice above.

Although the number of mobile visitors to our site is increasing, the main reason for wanting responsiveness is that Google seems to have downgraded our site's authority, probably because it's not mobile friendly. Having a mobile friendly version of my VB3 forum would awesome. Where do I look for this sort of functionality?

I must admit that our forum is very basic as I've always struggled getting my head around VB. We have VBSEO installed and one other 'plugin' that limits image sizes in posts. I also have my main site's navigation inserted in the header as php.

Is it a good idea for me to add a link here so you guys can see it?

First, get rid of vBSEO as soon as you can.
It is a third party product and the company that made it ceased trading years ago. The product is riddled with security holes and you WILL get compromised because of this, at some point.
DBSEO is an alternative, if you must use these type of products.

Secondly, in terms of a mobile style for vB3, I like Dartho's.

Thanks for the responses. Apologies for the delayed reply, I've been on holiday.

Firstly, if I uninstall VBSEO, is my site going to suddenly have a load of dead URLs. I really need to prevent any negative SEO effect as we're already losing lots of people to Facebook. I wouldn't want to find that we've been penalised by Google for having masses of broken links to pages on our site.

Is VBSEO easily to uninstall? What is the process please?

sultantheme looks great. Where do I get this? Is it a paid for product?

You could switch to Dragonbyte seo instead and it will import Vbseo settings. Vbseo is a security hazard.
