Private Message privileges
I'm running vb 4.2.4
I have a usergroup that I don't want to have Private Message privileges but I still want this usergroup to be able exchange Private Messages with Moderators and Administrators. How can I accomplish this? When the "Maximum Stored Messages" is set to "0" this user group can't Private Message anyone but the user group can still receive Private Messages from Moderators and Administrators. This is fine but the usergroup is unable to respond to that Private Message and that usergroup is unable to initiate a Private Message with a Moderator/Administrator. Is there a way to only enable Private Messages with Moderators/Administrators and disable Private Messages with all other usergroups? |

Settings: Set whether product is active or not. = Yes Restricted Usergroups = "No PM Privileges" Allowed Corresponders = Administrators, Assistant Administrators, Moderators, Sr. Moderators The usergroup "No PM Privileges" was able to send PMs to usergroup "Registered Member" and "Registered Member" was able to send PMs to "No PM Privileges" Got any suggestions on how to make this work so "No PM Privileges" can only PM (send and receive) with Administrators, Assistant Administrators, Moderators, Sr. Moderators? Administrators, Assistant Administrators, Moderators, Sr. Moderators still need to PM (send and receive) with all other user groups. |
