Video Club
Fetch Videos from many Providers with URL since ver. 1.2.0 you can also embed any valid video code
Things to know !!!
If your site is SSL and you try to show a video from a non SSL site, video should not works.
If you can't show YouTUBE videos, most probably your API key is wrong. Be sure that you've setup correct the API key and it is ver. 3. Here is a good tutorial.
If you see strange characters in the text, the problem is character encoding. Even in English, if you're using iso-8859-1 but the video provider uses UTF-8 should have some problems. But you can edit the text, so not so important issue.
Demo Installation
demouser1 / demopass1
demouser2 / demopass2
demouser3 / demopass3
PS: In my demo I've setup Disqus as commenting system. But it's up to you to setup Threads instead.
1.- What's this?
Video Club is a Video Gallery mod for your community. It's easy to use and has a nice interface. User just needs to enter a link to the video and set a category. All others done automatically. For comments supports Thread per video but also the well known Disqus external commenting system. I strongly recommend you to use Disqus as it's very social and soon you'll see an increment amount of pageviews.
2.- Video Providers (Websites)
5min.com
Blip.tv
Break.com

Set the Categories
5.- PRO Version
After many years I decided to use PRO version not as a way not to earn money (I don't expect to have more than 10 sales), but rather to find a way to pay for some commercial scripts that I want to use in the PRO version (Distribution License). The follow features will be in the PRO version:
Extra Providers
Facebook
LiveLeak.com
OpenLoadMovies.com
Videoplayer with support for prevideo ads
Better carousel for latest videos at top
Video search in multiple providers
Many notifications
Brand free

I have an error on frontend after uploading video. Any idea what could be the issue? I have ssl on the site. Https is enabled in settings. I got youtube api.
deleting video received this error.
PHP Warning: mysqli_query(): (22003/1690): BIGINT UNSIGNED value is out of range in '(`crypto_forum`.`user`.`videoclub` - 1)' in ..../includes/class_core.php on line 1394
1.- About deletion. If I understood well the time that you tried to delete the video you've setup as commenting system "Threads". The question is if at the time that video created have you already setup this option or you setup it at a later time?
2.- As for the screenshot:
a] Have you set correctly in settings the server path to videoclub/thumbs/ ?
b] Have you CMOD 777 the folder videoclub/thumbs/ ?

The option was setup before adding videos and with the added htaccess file. I have removed the added htaccess file and it seem to solve the issue. It was added because of the below issue to try and solve.

Yes the required 2 folders where set to the correct path and CMOD 777
Checking your site didn't found anything wrong other than your video link does not has max resolution thumbnail available at YouTUBE. I tried one of my the links that I'm using in my demo and works fine. This means that code is ok, directory permissions are ok and also server path is correct.
Have modified Media.class.php for you to replace the requested thumbnail to be the default (lower quality).
Please upload the attached file at: videoclub/includes/
Also noticed some misworking in SEO links. Is a good idea to move my rules at top of the file.
Thank you got it working now, will definitely be getting the pro version.

There is no Pro version at the moment and don't know if it will be ever be. Maybe, and step by step, I'll add those extra features to this version.
The only that counts as Pro version is copyright removal without fix price. Anyone who donates for this mod gets the legal right to turn off the copyright link (Videoclub-> General Options).
So far so good... seems to be running without issues...
A suggestion....
It would be great if there was an option to turn ON that would let people know there was a new video added. Perhaps it could display in the same area and as part of the new messages advisory?
Excellent!! I had a small problem because I selected SEO friendly URLs (don't ask me why lol) and none of the videos would play. Once I unselected that, everything was FLAWLESS on my SSL installation.
THANK YOU for another excellent mod. YOU ROCK ParadoxG(r)eek!
