Yes - I search for a function that can log search keywords that users search for.
I installed this Addon: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=298033 But does not work for me at the moment... in the 4.2.x Version. So I am searching for something similar to this |

In vb2 and vb3, database was keeping searched words in a simple structure where you could easily read with a single query. Hence the hacks above were easy to come up with.
In vb4, searching got complicated because it started to entail all sorts of contents like blogs or cms. So its not possible to read search results with a single query anymore, after you read from database you need to analyze it inside your code before displaying it to the user. So unfortunately its not easily possible to port the hacks above to vb4. A search log hack for vb4 needs to be more complicated than these. |
