Default User Registration Options vs Usergroup Options
Using vBulletin 4.2.3 Patch Level 2.
Was notified by one of our newer members that they could not see user avatars or posted images. Default User Registration Options > Default Registration Options > Display Avatars and Display Images were set to No. I queried his account in AdminCP and set those to Yes and advised him to log out/log in and he should be fine. He was. I thought that these options (and Display Signatures as well) were settable in individual usergroups, such that after promotion from Registered User to Established, those default registration options would be overwritten in favor of those set in the promoted to usergroup. But after having received this members notification, I checked the usergroups; Registered User and Established; and I don't see a setting other than Can See Thumbnails and Can View Others' Profile Pictures. So my question is, how can I keep Display Avatars, Display Images and Display Signatures as No during registration, but have them allowed after promotion out of the Registered Users usergroup? Am I missing something? :erm: |

You might have to add:
<vb:if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 1,2,3,etc)"> to the relevant template(s) |
