This BBCode was inspired from here (This is also 3.8.x)

This BBCode will allow you to add a small player to a thread or post. This can link to individual tracks, albums or playlists.

Description: Display a Spotify track, album or playlist with button
Use Option: No
Image: http://aireonetoronto.com/wp-content...tify-16x16.png (or save this image and upload and point to it)
Remove Tag If Empty: Yes
Disable BB Code Within This BB Code: Yes
Disable Smilies Within This BB Code : Yes
Disable Word Wrapping Within This BB Code: Yes
Disable Automatic Link Parsing Within This BB Code: Yes

NOTE: You can edit the replacement to be

<iframe src="https://embed.spotify.com/?uri={param}" width="300" height="380" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

Remove the spotify: before {param} and you can just paste in the URI spotify gives you. But also note that you will have to select continue because of the error it will throw up.
