The host was trying to install SSL on the site yesterday and maybe that has caused this issue. But we're unable to pin point what exactly is causing this. Users are unable to login. When they enter login details and click login, the page refreshes but they don't get logged in.

Any ideas what exactly could be causing this issue?

Are the URL settings in the AdminCP of vBulletin updated to point to the HTTPS protocol of your site?

If your urls are changed in the admin panel as Dave mentioned than try using tools.php to reset your cookies.

Also make sure you did not forget to change your htaccess to redirect to the new url.
