AdminCP and Errors
I have been trying to get this problem sorted for a few weeks now and I am really starting to struggle(physically and emotionally) so here it is.
I am trying to run a fresh install of vBulletin onto my web host. now I have managed to fix this problem before so I know it's not an issue from their side. I install vBulletin to the installation process it tells me to delete the install folder, I do it then redirects me to the admincp which links me to http://forums.laganum.eu/admincp/ which is doesn't work. I then go to core/admincp and it works fine. I log in and suddenly error 500 right in the kisser. Forums seem to be in text mode with no CSS/Images and error 500 where the login is displayed. I have been all over the forums here and on .com and I've tried everything I can find. Multiple reinstalls, mod_security added to the htaccess, file permissions and contacted my host. I have an installed wordpress as the front end and that seems to be working find with no issues what-so-ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't the slightest with this sort of stuff. I have managed to sort this issue before, I just cant remember for the life of me how.. Thanks! |

Did you rename htaccess.txt to .htacess? Note the first character in the filename is the dot and it has no file extension.
