Adding an Article
Obviously, I am missing something here. Usually, I just run a vB forum, this CMS thing is new to me.
I did not see in the online manual how to actually ADD an article to the CMS. I can create sections and categories all day long, amd change permissions for articles writing, but can somebody please point me to the location in the manual on how to ADD an article? |

On your CMS home page is there a drop-down box to create an article?
If not then you need to adjust your administrator permissions: > AdminCP > Usergroups > Administrator Permissions > *Click to Edit Permissions of admin in questions > *Now select Yes for options related to CMS. Edit: If you installed the default data, simply edit an article for now to get used to the system which makes life easier on understanding how it works. If you did not install default data it actually requires a little more setup to ensure everything works right errrr well actually let me re-phrase to ensure you know how everything works, and it works right there we go that sounds better. |

This is weird. I went to edit the permissions of the "Admin" usergroup. I saw the sections for blogging, but did not see one for the CMS or Articles. The CMS plugin is installed.
--------------- Added [DATE]1461618338[/DATE] at [TIME]1461618338[/TIME] --------------- I went to the Permissions in the vBulletin CMS Menu and the Adminstrator is set to Create Content. |

Follow my lead above... > AdminCP > Usergroups > Administrator Permissions > *Now click to "Edit" beside the admin username you want to modify permissions for. Administrator Permissions != (Does not equal) Usergroup Permissions so you need to be in the correct admincp area and editing the correct "permissions". The url location for this would be: http://www.YOURURL.com/admincp/admin....php?do=modify OR http://www.YOURURL.com/forum/admincp....php?do=modify |

As you can see from the ScreenCap, I have already set this.
And the other ScreenCap shows what I see when I look at the main Articles page. No option to add an article. Ideas? |

Have you set permissions for user groups?

As I said earlier, in ACP|Usergroups there is not permission to set for CMS. When I go to ACP|vBulletin|vBulletin CMS|Permissions, set the permissions in there. I included that in the last ScreenCap.
