User Titles & Ranks
When a user joins, they are given a choice of usergroup to go into. This is done on registration.
For some reason, although it puts them into the usergroup they choose, it sets them as a "Junior Member" until I click "Update User Titles and Ranks" Naturally I can't keep doing that. I don't have any plug ins installed and I edited the scheduled task to run every 10 minutes but it's not affecting it. Is there anything else I can do? |

vbulletin out of the box does not offer new registrants pick of usergroup during registration or at any time for that matter. You must have an addon installed that does this and would really need to visit that thread, sorry, I wish I could help out.

Give this on a try.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....3&postcount=13 --------------- Added [DATE]1456680070[/DATE] at [TIME]1456680070[/TIME] --------------- The new usegroups you made were not given a User Title name were they? When you created the new usegroups, you created them based off registered users usergroup. Doing that, caused the new usergroup to pick up the User Title name of the registered users usergroup. Try this: Give each of your new usergroups a User Title name, then rebuild the User Titles. Visit your site on a different browser and register to test it out. |
