Accidental Forum Deletion
Howdy,
So we've deleted a forum, thinking it would merge the posts, which is clearly doesn't. So apparently those threads and posts will now be orphaned? How to I get those threads and posts, back into another forum? |

Do you have a back up?

We have, yes. However, the posts and threads remain in the DB don't they?
How do I merge the two DB without losing new posts since the previous backup. |

When you delete a forum, all associated data to that forum will also be deleted.
I'm afraid the only way to restore it is by importing the data over from an old backup. Using something like PHPMyAdmin, tick all the threads/posts you want to move over to the live database and export it. Then execute those queries against the live database. |

If u have saved your db backup then each n every post/thread will be back.. just install new forum and then connect it with your old db.. before do this disable all plugins because its requires plugins files
