Resize header on Seamus theme?

Hey vB.org!

Im new around here and just purchased my vB License, anyways. I'm looking to change my header on my vB4 site its currently using the "Seamus" theme by Bluepearl. So far I've manged to make the site a fixed width. But replacing the header image with another one does not automaticly adjust the hight of the site to fit the header.

I've done lots of google searches to find an answer but came up empty.

Has anyone successfully managed to change the header on a Seamus themed site? and if so, how did you go about doing so?

Im talking about adjusting the hight of the header image without it breaking the theme.

Also as you might notice, I need to fix the text up top, centering it or something if possible. That too would be helpful if anyone knew how to.

EDIT:
Manged to partly fix the top bar, at the moment its just padded near the center of the site.
