I think you can use a promotion for that. Figure out the "Days Registered", then choose "Join Date" and "Additional Usergroups". Then you have to run it from the Scheduled Task manager to get everyone added to the additional group. (You'd then delete it if you don't want it to be ongoing based on number of days registered).
