future post
is there an mod/addon that allow me to write a few posts and have them automatically open at a scheduled date?
i already have an addon where i can do weekly topics but it doesn't allow me write future posts |

I believe there were a cople of older mods that did this, but never worked well. You may want to pay someone to make this for you by posting in the Requests for Paid Services forum.

think i have come up with a solution that might work , it may take a few steps but i am sure it will do what i want it to do
came up with the idea of setting up a wordpress site and use the scheduled post feature on that , then by using the rss to thread/post mod that is available on this site i just tell it to collect the rss at X time |

That sounds like it might work in your situation, and if you are happy with it, then it's a bonus as it cost you no money to have someone code something up for you.
