Could anyone please advise as to why on occasion the Moderators and Admins in a Forum are having to moderate their own posts. I have set their permissions so that they don't have to moderate their posts.
Also, after some messages have been approved they turn up in the moderation queue again after they have gone on to the Forum.
Are these two linked in any way or separate issues.
Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using akismet at all? Or any type of Spam Management options?

Check the Usergroup permissions and made sure "Follow Forum Moderation Rules" is set to Yes

then check Usergroups > Forum Permissions > any forum where the usergroup shows up in a color and make sure "Follow Forum Moderation Rules" is set to Yes.

If you have ticket support, you should put in a ticket. It's very hard to tell what is going on without being about to see the admincp settings.
