Starting over
ok, this is a tough one. I have a semi-large forum with countless hacks installed, about 15 styles, and 3 templates.
The things is, I want to start over with an unhacked board, and not hurt anything else in the process, from there I'll re-hack only a few things and wait for vb3.... will just re-uploading the php files work? would I loose anything I shouldn't? all I want is a bone stock board, but the database to be intact... |

hmm, if you haven't hacked your DB, this should work with no problems.
if you have made changes to your DB, this should also work, but its not sure, depends on what you have changed... don't forget to revert some templates to remove the hacks from there too. |

I figure I'd have to start with the templates, and I think total I've only added a table and a few fields to the DB- but even then it won't mattter although maybe add an extra MB or two

if you have just added some tables and fields, there won't be a problem, just overwrite the php-files with the unchanged ones, and revert templates and everything is working like there were never a hack on your board
