Moved to pre-sales questions. Anyway, you can only buy a vb5 license from vbulletin.com, but it will allow you to use any older version that you care to use. I don't think you'd want to start a new forum using anything except the latest of each major version. Most of the vb3 mods will work for the latest version (even if they are in the 3.7 mod forum).
I had no idea that those from v3 would work on v5. That's good to know.

Also remember, because you have access to all three versions does not mean you can run one of each, you still can only run one site per license.
I appreciate your input. Is there something in particular with 4.2.2 ? I just need a stable version that will give me and my users a hassle free experience. Yes I know I can run only 1 site per license.
