Default Changing the signup link
I changed the register.php file name as part of some instructions to help prevent my forum getting hit by spam bots.

When someone tries to sign up and gets the activation email, it still has the register.php part in the link. Where do i go to change that?

Use your search feature in Languages & Phrases to find all instances of "register.php". There are a lot of them.

I don't think so. I would change them all.

Just thought of something. You need to go to line 1852 of includes/functions_online.php and change that so Who's Online works properly

Renaming the register link wont help much. You still need to let guests get linked to it.

By changing the filename and links, it most certainly does help. I use Rename register.php by BOP5 and to date it has stopped over 12,134 attempts of bots trying to auto register.

Thats what i used (rename register) but i guess i missed a step somewhere.
