how to export users posts counter
Hi
how can I export all users post counters and re-import it again after doing massive deletion for a forum in vb3? I need to delete a huge archive forum but I dont want members to loose their posts counter. Thank you. |

I suppose that you could use mysql commands (through phpmyadmin for example) to save the user table by exporting it or copying it to a different table name, then reimporting it or copying it back when you're done. It seems like it should work but I can't guarantee it. It's kind of dangerous of course so you'd at least want to have an backup. (and you'd want the forum closed while you're doing it).
It's probably possible to export and reimport just the post count column, but I can't tell you how to do that. |
