@Zachery, what your saying is 100% right and I get your point -- the end result in this case is the same. The outputted html is the same whether it is deleted or not due to the conditional in the template. In this particular case the code I gave, I consider incomplete. Beginners believe there is too much clutter and although very true, advanced users need these options. In truth, the template and code needs to be revised to use the standard reply editor, it is what I have done for the board I oversee -- thus having the 'advanced editor' button. @Zachery, I think your input was valid and needed here, because many users do not use the history system. When I have time, I will try to present the changes that I have implemented in the corporate board that I oversee. Sorry, it will not be a 'modification' due to my company's TOS and my position within the company. I doubt my changes could have been implemented into a modification, not without adding additional code hooks. I will see what I can do. I feel your need brothers.
