I have some question about vB4

Firstly I would like to know how to make user rank images such as my title would have a picture that says Root or Superadmin.png

Secondly is it possible to have more than one vB up because www.edge-gamers.com has a forum that has sections or division of a clan having multiple of forum. How would I do that?

I'll answer the second question. I believe if you are using one domain you can have multiple instances on the same domain but I would wait for verification on this first.

I'm also not sure but of the same opinion as RichieBoy67, will need verification. If you are allowed to do that, it means only use multiple directiorys such as domain.com/forum1 and domain.com/forum2.

Just cannot use more than one subdomains, like having one on sectionone.domain.com and sectiontwo.domain.com.

There is no real diffrence between the two in regards to additonal benefits other than easier localisation for geographical purposes, usually for diffrent countries, etc.

Yeah, I would think there would be better ways to have sections or divisions than having multiple instances of the entire forum.

I would just create a forum category for each division and they can have their own forums underneath. If you want them to only be accessible to that particular division then create usergroups with forum permissions.

Using multiple instances will definitely be a major strain on your server and navigation and seo will also be impacted.

So the have the circle on top right hand corner those are division of Call of Duty and Counter Strike, and Team Fortress. I was wondering if I could setup multiple of forum like that with tutorial.

Each active installation of the software requires a valid license.

Thanks, Is this something that has changed over the years? I could have sworn the license used to be per domain but I guess that could allow people to take advantage if subdomains were used.
