After you update the vBulletin 4.2.2 Patch Level 1 option'' Search'' in the forum works for the admin, not for members?.

I point out that the change was made in the file class_core.php:

case E_NOTICE:            // Just ignore these completely //

replace

case E_NOTICE:        case E_STRICT;     
   case E_DEPRECATED;        
    // Just ignore these completely //  
      break;
