Thanks for the replies folks. I've checked all the options settings and all user group settings and all forum permission settings, all are as they should be.

As for plugins, I do have quite a few but I have not added or altered any since this was working. In fact I have not made any changes to the forum since it stopped working. It just seemed to have stopped for no apparent reason.

I could disable plugins but, which ones? I don't want to disable them unless there is a very good possibility it could be one of them.

Any other possibilities anyone can think of?
