I made a new add reputation icon, named it to reputation-40b-hover.png and made an icon for reputation-40b.png and uploaded to images/buttons.

They overwrote the old files but the icons don't change on the site. What did I do wrong?

I rebuilt group icon but no help. Do I need to rebuild styles?

Try each one until you get it and no to styles.

I edited again and rebuilt, deleted vb system cache and browser cache but the images haven't changed. Seems this thing is very finicky.
